Content	Basic knowledge General gastroenterology and hepatology 1. Common GI diseases: peptic ulcer disease, reflux esophagitis, colon polyp, colitis, gallbladder stone, acute cholecystitis/cholangitis, pancreatitis, hepatitis (hepatitis A/B/C), alcoholic liver disease, liver cirrhosis, liver abscess 2. Common GI malignancies: esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, peri-ampulla Vater cancer, pancreatic cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, colorectal cancer Behavior and skills Try to be familiar with and have: patient care, practice-base learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism and system-based practice Common GI examinations that can be participated in 1. Radiofrequency ablation of liver tumor 2. Endoscopic examinations: esophagogastroduodenograpy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, capsule endoscope 3. Endoscopic interventions: endoscopic polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, endoscopic submucosal dissection, endoscopic hemostasis, endoscopic variceal ligation, endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography 1. Image examinations and reading: abdominal sonogram, abdominal/pelvic computed tomography
