Brief INTRO 

To address the medical needs of ageing populations worldwide, medical researchers are exploring new methods of treating diseases through cell therapy and regeneration medicine. At the forefront of this trend, the pioneering faculty at TMU established Taiwan’s first research program that specializes in cell therapy research and regeneration medicine. They also set up Taiwan’s first university-based Good Tissue Practice (GTP) laboratory.

The mission of IPCTRM is twofold: to provide students with the necessary training to become leading medical researchers and to promote translational medicine through cell-based therapy clinical trials. At the GTP lab, students learn how to produce cell-based medical products, gaining the knowledge and skills required for careers in the rapidly expanding field of cell therapy and regeneration medicine.
