The International Master Program in Medicine and the International Ph.D. Program in Medicine not only offer comprehensive graduate training, but also provide the International Clinical Training Program (ICTP), which allows foreign clinicians to receive clinical training at TMU’s affiliated hospitals. Trainees include senior residents, fellows, and visiting scholars, with training durations ranging from one month to two years, depending on their specialty and level of training. ICTP participants may also enroll in selected courses from the International Master/Ph.D. Program in Medicine and engage in supervised patient care within the hospitals.
We encourage ICTP trainees to apply for our degree programs upon completion of their training. Relevant ICTP experience may be credited toward their graduate studies.
We greatly value the diversity that visiting residents and fellows bring to our programs. It is our goal to ensure that medical professionals from around the world have meaningful opportunities to come to TMU, learn from our faculty, and experience our clinical and academic environment.
