The College of Medicine of Taipei Medical University focuses on combining the humanistic spirit of students and the expertise of medicine. The college departments and graduate institutes are responsible for teaching, research, and supporting services in the fields of basic medical sciences, clinical medicine, and applied medical sciences.

In 2015, the International Master Program/Ph.D. Program in Medicine were established, specializing in six fields: Molecular Medicine, Community Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Neuromedicine, Clinical Medicine, and Medical Education, gearing the education towards training and cultivating professionals in demand. In 2017, the International Ph.D. Program for Cell Therapy and Regeneration Medicine was founded, which is the only doctoral program domestically that trains students to enhance the development of translational medicine and clinical trials in cell/stem cell therapy.

We continue to recruit more faculty to reduce the student-teacher ratio and improve the quality of teaching. At the same time, we subsidize teachers in short-term overseas study during summer vacations and upgrade our facilities year by year. In the future, we will integrate cross-department research themes and organize research teams, pursue disease-oriented focus of internationalization, and achieve the goal of building a regional research alliance centered on Taipei Medical University to provide unique contributions to medical education in Taiwan. We also hope that international graduates can become a bridge between Taipei Medical University and other countries to deepen and strengthen cross-border cooperation in the medical and biomedical research fields, joining hands to create a future of mutual benefits.
