Elective ( at least 8 credits)
| – IGPM admits elective courses meeting both criteria 【1】 conducted in English(The course code includes “E”) 【2】offered by all Postgraduate Institutes in TMU as graduation credits. – Must complete “Cell biology” or “Molecular biology” (3 credits) before graduation. – Must complete “Medical statistics” (2 credits) before graduation. – IGPM encourages to study various elective courses: Students can choose any course in TMU according to the supervisors’ advice or research topics. – Explore diverse courses in TMU Course Inquiry System. |
Graduation requirement – International Master Program in Medicine
- Have to complete 12 required credits and at least 18 elective credits.
- Every Master graduate student is obligated to propose his/her Thesis proposal in accordance to the fixed schedule.
- Master graduate students are obligated to attend the open progress report held by IGPM before graduation.

Graduation requirement – International Ph.D. Program in Medicine
- Have to complete 22 required credits and at least 8 elective credits.
- Publish at least 1 original publication in SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, EI, THCI Core journal (ranked in top 50%) as the first author.
- In case of co-first authorship, the impact factor of the journal is divided by the number of co-first authors, the impact factor is ≥ 5.
- Reporting at an international symposium for at least one time.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 30 credits, including 24 credits of required courses.
Most of the course requirement can be completed in 2 years, candidates shall satisfy the requirements list below for the Ph.D. degree
- Reporting at an academic symposium for at least one time
- At least 1 original publication in SCI, SSCI journal (ranked in top 50%) as the first author
